At PDC Incorporated, every project begins with the same foundation: craftsmanship, collaboration and an unwavering attention to detail. As 2025 comes to a close, we are reflecting on a year defined by complexity, innovation and the kind of precision that sets our work apart.
From performing arts spaces and health care facilities to historic restorations and modern facades, our teams delivered more than finished walls and ceilings. We built environments that shape how people live, learn, work and connect.
Precision Framing and Drywall: Strength Behind Every Surface
Framing and drywall are at the core of what we do, and this year our teams continued to showcase the craftsmanship and coordination required to execute complex builds.
Projects like Wesleyan University’s new science building and the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke challenged our crews to deliver precision on a large scale, integrating structure, systems and finish quality across multiphase institutional environments. Each space stands as a testament to our ability to bring both strength and refinement to the framework of modern construction.
Acoustical Expertise: Where Performance Meets Perfection
Sound defines experience, and few projects demonstrate that better than the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall and Bard College’s new Performing Arts Studio, designed by Maya Lin Studio.
Our work on these acoustically sensitive spaces required deep technical knowledge of sound absorption, alignment and finish systems. Whether installing intricate ceiling clouds, USG Ensemble panels or custom wall assemblies, our teams ensured every detail performed flawlessly, both visually and acoustically.
Restoration and Preservation: Honoring the Past, Building for the Future
This year reaffirmed our commitment to preserving the character of historically significant buildings while enhancing their functionality.
At Deerfield Academy, our team contributed to a project that blended tradition with forward-thinking design, improving spaces that continue to serve generations of students.
Similarly, work at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall demanded meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each element honored the building’s original craftsmanship while meeting today’s performance standards.
Specialty Finishes and Exterior Systems: The Details That Define Design
From exterior cladding, wrapped columns and custom trim at the Lenox Public Safety Complex to precision facade work at Yale University’s Graves-Gilman House, our exterior and specialty teams elevated every surface.
These projects highlight the versatility of our craft, combining modern materials, clean detailing and seamless coordination to create exteriors that perform as beautifully as they look.
Building Spaces That Serve: Health Care and Community
Construction is most meaningful when it supports people.
At Connecticut Children’s Hospital and the Newburgh Recreation Center, our field teams balanced technical requirements with care and coordination, completing complex projects in active, occupied environments while ensuring safety, schedule and quality never wavered.
These projects reflect our purpose-driven approach to building spaces that make a difference.
Building Beyond the Jobsite
While our work is rooted in craftsmanship and precision, 2025 also reminded us that building extends beyond the physical spaces we deliver.
Through the PDC Foundation and our annual Charity Golf Tournament, our team continued to support organizations that strengthen the communities where we live and work. From health care and housing initiatives to youth and education programs, these efforts reflect the same values that guide our projects: accountability, teamwork and long-term impact.
Giving back is not a side effort at PDC. It is part of how we measure success.
Looking Ahead
Across every market sector, including education, health care, community and performance, 2025 reinforced what defines PDC: precision in planning, expertise in execution and pride in every finish.
As we look to 2026 and beyond, we remain focused on delivering excellence through craftsmanship, innovation and collaboration, while continuing to invest in the people, partnerships and communities that make our work meaningful. From frame to finish, we are committed to building spaces and relationships that stand the test of time.
