This May, for National Military Appreciation Month, we recognize all the brave men and women who have served—or continue to serve—in the United States Armed Forces. Our team values the unique skills and experiences that veterans bring to the workplace, frequently including leadership qualities, a strong work ethic and the ability to operate under pressure. These qualities make veterans valuable assets to our organization, and we are proud to have several on our team.
The Veterans of PDC
In addition to thanking the vets on our team for their service, we also asked them about their interest in construction and their reasons for joining PDC. Here’s how they responded:

“PDC is the best company ever! I’ve worked with these guys for seven years and it’s been great.”Lucas Drury, Journeyman Carpenter
Army National Guard, Three Years
“I have always loved construction and wanted to make a career out of it. I found that with PDC.”Jim Phillips, Journeyman Carpenter
Navy, Four Years
“It was time for me to make a change. I knew a lot of people who were working for PDC and I’d heard many wonderful things about the company.”Carl Santos, Journeyman Carpenter
Coast Guard, Four Years
I enjoy building and I had always wanted to work in construction. I like to move around on the job and be active.”Mike Drogos, Journeyman Carpenter
Marines, Seven Years
“At the time, it was the best decision for me. I’ve always enjoyed construction and especially enjoy working for my foreman.”Chris Diemand, Journeyman Carpenter
